- Love books, my husband, my daughter and my cats. But my first love was books. I was around ten, when I discovered the sanctuary the library at our school provided. The Three Investigators and The Famous Five had me hooked for years, and my love of detective novels persists, though I have branched out to horror, fantasy and the derogatorily called chick-lit.
